Women’s Basketball Travels to Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE – University of Missouri women’s basketball (13-5, 2-3 SEC) will hit the road to face Vanderbilt (10-8, 1-3 SEC). The Tigers will look to pick up their first road SEC win of the season. The game will air on SEC Network + with a 7 p.m. CT tipoff time.

Mizzou has won five in a row against Vanderbilt and the Tigers lead the all-time series 7-3.

Junior guard Aijha Blackwell was named SEC Co-Player of the Week for the second time on the season. Blackwell pushed her double double total to 13 while averaging 26.5 points and 15 rebounds over two games against Top 15 opponents.

Hayley Frank has been impressive for the Tigers of late. The junior forward is averaging 19.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in SEC play. She and Lauren Hansen shared SEC Player of the Week honors after the Tigers downed No. 1 South Carolina. Frank leads the SEC in both three-point field goals per game at 2.61 and three-point percentage at 47 percent.
