The West Plains Zizzers Baseball team hosted a trivia night to fundraise for the baseball team. The event raised over $5000 for the program. Here is what they posted on Facebook about the event:
“We had a very successful Zizzer Trivia Night Fundraiser tonight!
We are so thankful to all of the players, family members, and community members who donated time, money and auction items to contribute to this fundraiser. A special shout out to the Dugout club for behind the scenes work.
Thank you to Primos Grill Mexican Restaurant in West Plains for catering some amazing tacos!
We successfully raised around $5200 that will be used in multiple ways to help better the program and provides for the players needs.
Again, thank you to everyone who helped or was able to make it. We are ready for baseball season!”
Zizzer baseball coverage will begin on their first home game against the the Liberty Eagles in their home opener. Tune into KWPM 105.1 and 1450 for live coverage. The game will also be streamed on Youtube and Facebook.
