SUMMERSVILLE, Mo. — A Summersville man faces burglary charges after he was reportedly found inside a home last Friday.
33-year-old William Hebert was charged with 1st degree burglary and attempt to tamper with a motor vehicle.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Route W in the Summersville area on Friday, November 29 for a reported burglary in progress.
The homeowner reported a relative found Hebert inside the residence and armed himself and held Hebert at gunpoint until additional family members arrived to assist him.
Deputies arrested Hebert and he reportedly attempted to resist the arrest, bite the deputies and move to the driver seat of the patrol vehicle. Hebert was restrained and transported to the Texas County Jail where he was held on $400,000 bond.
