WEST PLAINS, Mo. — A Cuba, Mo. resident suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon after falling asleep at the wheel.
56-year-old Darla Adairs was injured after the vehicle she was driving ran off-road and hit a sign while traveling eastbound on Highway 160 four miles west of West Plains around 2:29 pm.

Adairs was taken from the scene of the accident to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
