Mountain Home, AR. – The Baxter County Library’s is kicking off several events to keep children and adults interested in books over the heat of summer.
First up is a music show featuring Brian and Terri Kinder Saturday, June 25, at 10:30 am.
In addition the Library will be holding reading challenges for children and adults alike. Patrons can sign-up through Beanstack to join the challenges and track their progress. Complete the Summer Reading Program Challenge to be entered to win grand prizes for each age group. All of the Library’s Reading Challenges are running until August 6. Visit baxlib.org to sign-up.
Lastly, author Gordon Bass will be virtually visiting at the Library Wednesday, July 20, at 1:30 pm to answer questions on their book “The Last Great Austrailian Adventurer: Ben Carlin’s Epic Journey Around the World”.
