On Friday night the Liberty Eagles played host to the Mountain Grove Panthers for the class 2 District 3 Championship. This was a rematch from week 5 when Liberty beat Mtn. Grove 27-13 in what would be their closest contest of the season. Liberty came out in the first half running the ball and continued throughout the game dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball leading them to a 42-6 victory. Liberty will travel to Seneca next Saturday in State Quarterfinal play.
