Clarkridge, AR. – A man from the Clarkridge area of Baxter County, AR. has been arrested following events on June 5th that included the vandalism of a well, and threatening the lives of local homeowners.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Corporal Clifford Beck of the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a property on County Road 36, where a man was witnessed cutting wires to a well after a loud boom was heard outside.
Later, Sergeant Ken Grayham had to respond to the residence for a second call where the same man had threatened to shoot everyone at the residence. The man was identified as George Michael Lloyd.
Lloyd additionally stole a set of ramps at the same time he threatened to shoot individuals at the residence. Multiple witnesses were able to corroborate this story during the investigation.
George Lloyd has been issued criminal charges and was arrested for Felony 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening, 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespassing. He is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center, with a bond set at $10,000.
