Mountain Home, AR. – A 26-year-old man from Mountain Home, AR. has been arrested after fighting with police last week.
Brandon Lee Robinson, 26 of Mountain Home, was booked into the Baxter County Jail on March 13th on charges of Obstructing Governmental Operations, 3rd Degree Battery, Resisting Arrest through Use of Force, and 2nd Degree Battery on a Police Officer.
This began when a victim had arrived at a residence to pick up their car. The residents inside refused to return it, and then assaulted the victim.
When deputies arrived, Robinson admitted to the assault and was told he would be arrested. He refused and was advised that not complying would result in a taser being deployed. Robinson continued to refuse.
Another deputy arrived to assist and Robinson began to fight the deputies. He was tased twice to no effect, and even caused one deputy to tase themselves before Robinson then kicked them in the head. The victim and another witness intervened and Robinson was then arrested.
Robinson is being held on $10,000 bond.
