Howell County, MO. – We’re now neck-deep in the stormy season of Spring and early summer, and we’ve already had bouts of severe weather within the area. As such, the Howell County Emergency Management organization has provided a posted list of available tornado shelters within the area as a way to remind individuals of where to go in case of emergency.

Remember that in case of a tornado, and you find yourself unable to evacuate to a safe location such as those listed above, you should proceed to the lowest floor of your home, avoid any windows or other glass structures, and stay in a small, closed off space, such as a closet, bathroom, or center hallway.
