William Mansfield was born January 5th, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas to Linda Meeks and Roy Ingold. He departed this life on February 11th, 2025, at 65 years of age.
Will graduated from JC Harmon High, Kansas City, Kansas. He was married in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bridgett Cantrell and two sons were born to this union, Andy and Alex.
He moved to West Plains and developed loving relationships with many who adored him as he was known for his huge heart of gold and warm hugs. He never missed a Chiefs game.
Will is survived by his two sons, Andy Mansfield, Kansas City, Missouri, Alex Mansfield, Kansas City, Missouri, brother Donald Mansfield Blytheville Arkansas, three sisters; Kathy Lewis Benson of North Carolina, Jackie Webb and husband Cliff of West Plains, Missouri, and Penny Alverson of Caulfield, Missouri, as well as many family and friends.
Will was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Linda Ingold, one brother, Michael Mansfield, nieces Amy Mansfield and Marcie McReynolds and one nephew Chaz Coats.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at The Yellow House Community Center, 209 West Trish Knight Street, West Plains, MO.
