A man from Hardy, Arkansas, Christian Scott Bales was arrest for possession of drugs. According to the probable cause statement Bales was driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 pickup and a traffic stop was made due to improper signaling and no muffler near County Road 8040 on Highway 160in Howell County. Trooper Healy asked for permission to search the vehicle but it was not granted by Bales, an open air sniff was conducted by K9 and alerted the presence of narcotics. Upon searching the vehicle Bales was in possession of methamphetamine, TCH outside of original packaging, acid and paraphernalia. Bales was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked or suspended.
