To support residents affected by the March 14–15 severe storms and tornadoes, the State of Arkansas, FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration have announced expanded locations and extended hours for in-person disaster assistance in nine counties.
Through Saturday, May 31 (closed Memorial Day), homeowners and renters in Greene, Hot Spring, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Randolph, Sharp and Stone counties can visit any of eight existing sites—or two newly opened locations—to apply for FEMA aid for uninsured losses.
New and Extended Sites in Greene County
- Extended: Greene County Courthouse (Room 108), 320 W. Court St., Paragould, May 23–24, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
- New: Paragould Community Center, 3404 Linwood Drive, Paragould, May 27–29, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Sharp County Additions
- Extended: Cave City City Hall (Conference Room), 201 S. Main St., May 23–24 & 27–29, Tue–Fri 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Sat 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- New: Ash Flat City Hall, 897 Ash Flat Drive, May 27–31, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Other Extended Locations
- Izard County: Ozarka College (John Miller Auditorium), Melbourne, May 23–24 & 27–29, Tue–Thur 8 a.m.–6 p.m.; Fri 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sat 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Jackson County: ASU-Newport Center for Fine Arts, Newport, May 23–24 & 27–29, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Applicants should bring insurance information, a current phone number, disaster and current addresses, a list of damages, and bank details for direct deposit.
