Noble Milam, Jr., 64-year-old resident of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born July 1, 1960, in Sikeston, MO, to Elizabeth “Betty” Milam of Benton, MO and the late Noble Milam, Sr.
Noble had worked in maintenance and construction. He was a one-of-a-kind guy with his easy-going, generous, and dependable nature. He made friends easily and the friendships grew and deepened. Whether you were a friend from high school who went on adventures with him or a coworker or newly found friend, he was fun to be around. With his love for being outdoors, which includes camping and fishing and building things, Noble possessed the abilities and interests perfect for coordinating Girl Scout Camps with the youth in Southeast Missouri. He was the Santa for Claus for a Cause for the past 15 years helping raise over $500,000 with his payment being in chocolate chip cookies. All of these reflect how Noble was always there for his family and friends, loved unconditionally, and brought joy to others.
Noble married Christina Switzer in Doniphan, MO. She survives. Also surviving is a son, Kayden Dreer-Milam; stepchildren, Felicia and Richard; sisters, Tammy (Kurt) Kramer of South Carolina and Tina (Mike) Johnson of Sikeston, MO; grandchildren, Alyssa, Cassie, Airyan, Ashley, and Dillan; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Kent Courtney, Brittney Kramer, Kyle Kramer, Dustin Johnson, and Kamryn Johnson.
In addition to his father, Noble was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Milam.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at VFW Post 3485 in Doniphan followed by a dinner.
