SIKESTON, Mo. — The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a $3.18 million contract to Pace Construction Company for pavement improvements in the Southeast District, the Missouri Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
The project will focus on Route 17 in Howell County, covering the stretch from U.S. Route 63 south to the Arkansas state line. The upgrades aim to improve driving conditions and extend the life of the roadway.
Construction timelines and traffic impact details will be shared prior to work beginning, according to MoDOT.
