Mansfield, MO. – A Seymour woman is facing a felony stealing charge after being suspected of taking $4,190.50 from a previous employer.
This began on March 12, when a Wright County deputy responded to Rocky Ridge Manor in Mansfield for a report of theft.

The administrator of the facility stated with recepits that Teresa Downs, born in 1968, had taken cash as payment from residents, with the funds never being deposited.
In an interview with Downs, she admitted to having taken small amounts of money. It was also found that Downs was charged with theft in 2010 for stealing from a previous employer.
