On July 10, 2025, Officer Barnes with the Mountain View Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant for a residence located at 503 South State Route 17 as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
During the search, officers located a firearm, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, unidentified pills, and ammunition. Two individuals were detained at the scene. One subject, identified as Heather Koen, was taken into custody.

Koen was formally charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $5,000.
