CHEROKEE VILLAGE, Ark. – The Sharp County Sheriff Foundation is inviting area golfers to tee off for a good cause at its 2nd Annual Swinging for Safety Benefit Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at the South Golf Course in Cherokee Village.
The event is a four-man scramble, with team registration set at $400. Fees are non-refundable and must be paid by Sept. 5. Limited carts will be available. Teams can check in beginning at 7 a.m., and the tournament will get underway with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, as well as for individual contests including longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt.
Organizers are also offering several sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who want to support the cause. Sponsorships range from $300 to $1,000, with benefits such as free team entries, banner placement, and advertising. Hole sponsorships are also available for $100.
The Sharp County Sheriff Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local law enforcement and enhancing public safety in the community.
