From the City of West Plains:
Mayor Mike Topliff recently signed a proclamation officially recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in West Plains. The proclamation was presented to Kenya Cook, representing Christos House, which continues to serve as a vital resource and advocate for survivors in our region.
Domestic violence impacts individuals of every age, gender, and background. By raising awareness, we take an important step toward breaking the cycle and supporting those affected.
Together, we can foster a safer, more compassionate community—one that stands united against violence.
