The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its monthly activity report for October, detailing calls for service, arrests, case filings and court collections throughout the month.
According to the report, dispatch received 406 calls for service during October. Deputies completed 94 incident reports and 19 motor vehicle accident reports while responding to incidents across the county.
The sheriff’s office noted that five new felony cases were filed with the Izard County Circuit Clerk’s Office. Deputies also served 49 civil papers.
In jail operations, staff booked 39 inmates throughout October, with the detention center maintaining a daily average population of 34 inmates.
Administrative staff collected $11,449.26 in restitution for victims, fines and fees, which will be directed back into the county justice system.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office plans to continue releasing monthly statistics to keep the community informed about public safety efforts and operational activity.
