Local Counties Take Two Spots of Top Three in the State During 2025 November Deer Season

The Missouri Department of Conservation has released their numbers for the 2025 November portion of deer season, and two of our local counties have taken two spots in the top three.

Current numbers are not final official numbers, which will be fully released at a later date. These numbers are pulled from the MDC’s active harvest summary list, found here.

Standing at the top of the rankings is Franklin county with a count of 3,609. Following that is Texas County with a count of 3,045, and rounding out the top three is Howell County, trailing with 2,974.

Also of note is Oregon County, taking the 8th spot in the list with 2,354.

Wright County came in at 11th with 2,192. Douglas County came in at 16th with 2,006. Shannon County was 27th at 1,768. Ozark County was 41st at 1567.
