Boil Advisory in Ava Lifted

We are pleased to announce that the Boil Water Advisory has been officially lifted, effective immediately.

 

We have received the second required “clear” result from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Both consecutive water samples have returned negative for contaminants, confirming that our community’s water meets all safety standards.

 

What This Means for You:

 

Safe to Consume: You no longer need to boil your water for drinking, cooking, or ice making.

 

Next Steps: It is a good practice to run your cold water taps for a few minutes to flush your household lines. If you have an automatic ice maker, you may want to discard the first batch of ice.

 

Crews will be going door to door this afternoon to handout notices.
