December 15, 2025 — The Howell County Commission announces that the mulching of vegetative debris resulting from the March 25 tornado has been successfully completed. The mulched material is now available to the public at no cost.
The mulched debris is located at ODC Heritage Park at the intersection of ODC Road 1060 and ODC Road 1090, across from Great Rivers Distributing in Pomona. Residents and businesses are welcome to collect the material for personal or commercial use.

Please note:
- Individuals must provide their own means of loading and hauling the material.
- Access is available only during daylight hours.
- It should be noted that the chipped material is much larger than typical landscape mulch.
- Loading is at your own risk. Howell County and ODC accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damage incurred during loading or transport.
