Titans 26, Chiefs 9

The quarterback situation for the Kansas City Chiefs has gone from bad to worse. Just one week after losing Patrick Mahomes to an ACL tear, Gardner Minshew is feared to have suffered the same injury in Sunday’s 26–9 loss to the Titans. Minshew went down on a non-contact knee injury but clearly couldn’t plant or throw, finishing just 3 of 8 for 15 yards.

That forced third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun into action. He completed 11 of 16 passes for 111 yards, but the Chiefs’ offense struggled, getting sacked four times and converting just 1 of 9 third downs in the loss.

One milestone did come out of the game for Travis Kelce. His production pushed him past 800 receiving yards for the season, marking the 12th straight year he’s hit that number. Only one other player in NFL history has done that — Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.
