Mountain Home, AR. – Earlier this month, a Flippin, AR. woman was arrested for lottery fraud and theft after scanning lottery tickets at her place of employment.
Mackenzie Hayes, 21 of Mountain Home, was arrested on December 5th after investigators were called to her place of employment. Hayes was caught on camera scratching lottery tickets, scanning them, and cashing out any winners.
Hayes admitted in interviews to having performed this action since August, with total lottery ticket winnings adding up to over $1,500.
Hayes’ charges include Lottery Fraud and Theft of Property, both felonies. She was taken into custody and released after posting a $2,500 bond.
