Doyle Wayne McKinney was born December 1, 1968, in West Plains, Missouri. After a three-month fight for life, he died peacefully in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 57.
Doyle was a truck driver for nearly thirty years, driving coast to coast and border to border – always with an imaginary canon mounted on the hood to clear the traffic ahead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Shirley McKinney, and his brother, Billy.
Doyle is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna; his sister, Cathy Kimbrough, and her husband, Ben; his brother, Bobby McKinney, and his wife, Tonya; and his sister, Tammy Bengi. Plus, numerous nieces, nephews, and greats.
Doyle lived his last 18 years in Mountain View. He was a fisherman, a gamer, and an avid listener to audiobooks.
