Colder temperatures, high winds, and a lack of moisture are combining to increase fire risks across the Ozarks, and the National Weather Service are urging the public to be careful with burning.
Outside burning is discouraged in general, outside of experienced fire personnel operations.

Activities that produce open sparks or flames are also asked to be avoided while these high winds are in effect today. Lastly, cigarettes should be properly disposed of, dry grass should be avoided for parking.
