Lead Hill, AR. –A Marion County man is facing multiple felony charges, including 2nd Degree Attempt to Commit Murder after multiple attempts on a victim’s life.
This information comes from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, who further stated this happened on January 11th. Deputies responded to a rural residence in rural Lead Hill on State Highway 14 in an attempt to contact 40-year-old Christopher Collier.
Collier was reported as having injured a female victim with a large knife, and pouring gasoline on her and the house in an attempt to light the residence on fire. Collier was unable to obtain his lighter to ignite the gasoline, and the victim was able to escape with family members, where she was treated at a local hospital.
Collier was taken into custody and faces charges including 2nd Degree Attempt to Commit Murder, and 1st Degree Domestic Battery, with a $250,000 bond
