Howell County Sheriff Matt Roberts stated on Monday that deputies, SWAT, the West Plains Police Department and Crisis Negotiations were on the scene of a hostage situation in Eastern Howell County.
Four children were being held hostage by their father until their release was successfully negotiated, more details will be released later in the week according to the statement.
