In the early morning hours of January 20, 2026 the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Ava Police Department Homeland Security Springfield, Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force
and MO STAT Team served a search warrant in the 600 Block of Mansfield Street where images of child pornography were seized.
Official charges and information will be forth coming. There is no evidence at time that any of the images are from victims in Douglas County
The success of this operation was dependent upon the cooperative efforts of all the agencies involved. as
