The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of former dispatcher Zane Michael Robinson, of Eminence, following allegations of inmate harassment. Robinson was taken into custody on January 21 and is now formally charged with Harassment in the First Degree, a Class E felony under Missouri law.
Sheriff’s officials emphasized that the safety and well‑being of all individuals housed in the county jail remain a top priority. They noted that every inmate is entitled to be treated with dignity and professionalism, and that any misconduct—especially by those in positions of authority—will not be tolerated.
The Sheriff’s Office stated it remains committed to accountability and maintaining the integrity of the agency.
