The Non-Profit Expo & Volunteer Fair scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled. All City of West Plains offices, including the Ozark Heritage Welcome Center, are closed Monday, January 26.
Never take unnecessary risks when it comes to bad weather, no matter the weather: cold, heat, flood. You’re not just putting yourself in danger. You’re putting others in danger who would try to rescue you if something goes wrong. And sometimes the rescuers are untrained Good Samaritans who are trying their best, but more people end up in danger and getting hurt. It’s just not worth it to get out today unless you have to.
