From the Douglas County Sheriff:
On February 5, 2026, Lt. Nelson, Detective Long, and Sgt Box worked on an investigation that resulted in the seizure of Child Pornography and furnishing pornographic material to a minor.
Kevin Lister, age 40 of Ava, was arrested after it was discovered that he had child pornography and was furnishing pornographic material to a minor. Phones, electronics, and multiple recording devices were seized after a search warrant was served on Lister’s residence.
A warrant was issued for Lister for Possession of Child Pornography and Furnishing Pornographic material to a minor. NO BOND was set in this case.
Sheriff Degase commends the work of all the Deputies involved in this case. “Cases like this are never easy to work. We anticipate additional charges after forensic examination of the recording devices.”
