With the rainfall that the area received last night and this morning, two locations have been closed in an announcement from Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Their message can be read below.
Conditions Update: 3/5/26 – 2:50 p.m.
The entire Jacks Fork River is CLOSED. The Upper Current River from Tan Vat to Two Rivers is CLOSED.River closures for non-motorized vessels are implemented during elevated conditions to ensure the safety of park visitors. Please note that these closures do not apply within two miles above and below the communities of Van Buren and Eminence, nor do they affect motorized vessels.
