West Plains, MO. – The seasons are changing, and with the warming weather, many people will likely turn to seeking activities outside their home in the coming days. The good news is, there are several such events happening in West Plains this week. Terry Hampton gives us our regular West Plains Arts Alliance and Explore West Plains update.
First off this evening there will be a presentation at the Ozarks Heritage Research Center, focused on “Fearless Female Journalists” of the Ozarks. That will happen tonight from 6 to 7pm. The Research Center can be found in the Garnett Library on the Campus of MSU – West Plains.
A meet the artist reception will take place fomorrow at OzSBI 3pm to 5pm, in front of the display by photographer Mark Brannan.
At the Yellow House on Friday, 7pm to 9pm, a live music performance will take place featuring Bryan Copeland and Michael Armstrong. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Lastly, performances of a musical stage production variation on Gilligan’s Island will be begin on Friday. Specific show dates are March 13, 14, 15 & March 20, 21, 22.
