Missouri State upsets number one Liberty in Conference USA Tournament

Missouri State pulled off a big upset in the Conference USA Tournament, knocking off top-seeded Liberty Flames 77–69 in the quarterfinals. Senior Michael Osei-Bonsu (Oh-SAY BON sue) led the Bears with a career-high 31 points, going 14-for-16 from the field while adding eight rebounds and four assists. It’s the first time since 2018 a No. 9 seed has reached the C-USA semifinals. Missouri State Bears will face the winner of Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Friday morning on CBS Sports Network
