William E. Rapp

William Rapp, born on March 19, 1944, and peacefully passed away on March 22, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri, will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. William was the devoted husband of Janet, sharing a remarkable 60 years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and unwavering support. Their bond was a testament to true commitment; Janet preceded him in passing on March 9, 2022, on the day before their 61st wedding anniversary, leaving cherished memories that William carried dearly.

William’s work ethic was unmatched. He began his career with his own franchise of the Charles Chips and ran his own delivery truck in the Franklin & Bloomington, Indiana area, and later became a respected semi driver. His journey eventually led him and his family west, where he served as a dedicated property manager in Oregon and California. Out of his love for Jesus Christ, his Savior, he served the community by providing Sunday School transportation for children from Franklin, Indiana, to Indianapolis, Indiana, with the assistance of his mother-in-law.

A true enthusiast, William found great joy in attending car and van shows, sharing his passion with friends and family. Above all, he was a man devoted to his family, always putting their needs first and creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of many, and his loyalty to those he loved was unwavering.
