A 23‑year‑old West Plains man was seriously injured Wednesday evening in a single‑vehicle rollover south of town.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 5:30 p.m. on April 8 along County Road 8870, about five miles south of West Plains. Troopers say the driver of a 2002 Dodge Ram swerved to avoid a deer, ran off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported by South Howell Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.
