A Mountain Home man was killed Friday afternoon in a collision at East 9th Street and McClure Lane. According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash happened at 12:38 p.m. in Mountain Home.
Investigators say a 2016 Dodge Journey was crossing East 9th Street when it was struck by a northbound 2011 Honda motorcycle. The motorcyclist, 63‑year‑old Edward Alexander of Mountain Home, died from his injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Conditions at the time were clear and dry. Alexander’s body was taken to the Baxter County Coroner’s Office, and next of kin have been notified.
