The Dora R-III School District is proud to announce the hiring of Dustin Harrill as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach for the Dora Falcons.
A native of West Plains, Missouri, Harrill brings a strong background in successful basketball programs. He has served as an assistant coach at Summersville High School and at Mountain View-Liberty High School. Harrill has been part of two district championship teams and capped this past season with a Final Four run.
Through these experiences, Harrill has gained valuable insight into what it takes to build and sustain a winning culture.
“I’ve been around successful programs and have seen firsthand what it takes to build a winning culture,” Harrill said. “I want to build a program at Dora known for hard-working, tough individuals who compete to win.”
Harrill expressed enthusiasm not only for the basketball program but for becoming part of the Dora school community.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue that success at Dora,” Harrill said. “I look forward to building strong relationships with students and staff while helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. My goal is to create a culture built on hard work, discipline, and team unity, while teaching life lessons that will benefit them long after graduation.”
In addition to his coaching role, Harrill will serve the district as an aide, allowing him to further connect with students throughout the school day.
Harrill and his wife, Taylor, have an 11-month-old daughter, Kambree, and are excited to become part of the Dora community.
