A 52‑year‑old Houston man died Tuesday afternoon in a crash on U.S. 63, six miles north of Cabool.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the northbound 2009 Ford F‑250 ran off the right side of the roadway around 3:45 p.m. and overturned on its side. The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:09 p.m. by Dr. Steven Schafer of Texas County Memorial Hospital.

This marks Troop G’s eighth fatality of 2026, compared to eleven at this time last year.
