Two Arrested for DWI Charges in Troop G Territory Yesterday

Two people within the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G’s territory are facing criminal charges after driving while inxoticated.

The first, Crystal Watson, 43 of West Plains, was arrested in Oregon County on a felony charge of DWI due to being a persistent offender, as well as charges for driving with a suspended license, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was taken to Ozarks Healthcare during her arrest and was later released.

The second arrest was of Bobby Wood, a 52-year-old from Gainesville, who was arrested in Wright County. Wood faces a misdemeanor DWI charge, as well as a misdemeanor for driving while suspended, and another criminal charge for driving in the wrong direction on a highway. He was taken to the Wright County Jail on a 12 hour hold.
