Eminence, MO. – Having started at 8am this morning, the Eminence City Wide Clean-Up has begun and will be continuing through to Sunday at 8pm.
Those who wish to get rid of excess waste may do so by taking their trash to the City Park. City personel will be on-location in order to monitor what is going into the dumpsters.

While this cleanup is happening, there are some things that will not be allowed to be dumped. This includes:
- Radioactive materials
- Explosives
- Polychlorinated biphenyls
- Bulk liquids
- Semi solids
- Flammable or volatile substances
- Pesticide containers
- Raw animal manure
- Septic tank pumpings
- Large dead animals, or large amounts of small dead animals
- Waste oil
- Major appliances
- Lead acid batteries
- Whole tires
- Yard waste
- Gravel, sand, and dirt
Lastly, city officials would like to remind the public that no one is allowed in the dumpsters for any purpose.
