Funeral Services for Herbert “Herb” Alvin Satterfield III, Age 52 of Houston, Missouri will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at The Life Church, Houston Missouri under the direction of The Evans Funeral Home, Houston, Missouri.
Herbert “Herb” Satterfield, 52, of Missouri, passed away on May 5, 2026.
Born October 14, 1973, Herb lived life with curiosity and a big heart. He found joy in the simple things: riding in his truck with the windows down and music playing, with no particular place to be. He loved traveling and had a true passion for scrap and oddities—the stranger the find, the better. If an object had a story, Herb wanted to have it.
Herb was also a man who loved all kinds of food. Whether it was BBQ, a diner, breakfast, or something entirely new, he was always up for a good meal and the company to share it with.
Above all, Herb’s greatest love was his family. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Samantha Altman and granddaughter, Maevelee Altman, who were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them.
Herb was also a member of Life Church, where he found community and purpose.
He will be remembered for his big laugh, his love of the open road, and his unique ability to find treasure in things others overlooked.
Services to honor and celebrate Herb’s life will be held at Life Church 1010 Indian Creek Trail, Houston, MO 65483 Saturday May 9th, 2026, at 10am.
