Evening Shade Fall Festival Returns September 20 with Full Day of Fun

EVENING SHADE, Ark. — The Evening Shade Fall Festival will return Saturday, September 20, filling downtown Main Street with a full day of activities, music, food, and community celebration. Roads will be blocked from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. as the area transforms into a hub of fall fun.

The festivities begin at noon with Tim Arnold & the Silver Edge Band, followed by the festival parade at 1 p.m. The parade will feature floats, antique cars, horses, and side-by-sides. Awards will be given for the top three floats, with prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third. A special $25 prize will also be awarded to the best-decorated ATV.

Afternoon entertainment will include the Simply Southern Cloggers at 1:30 p.m., Gospel with Free Indeed at 2:15 p.m., the Borderline Line Dancers at 3:30 p.m., and Rockin Luke Stroud at 4:15 p.m. Free bingo games and a children’s cash cube will begin at 5:15 p.m.

This year’s headline performance will come from the band Groove Vault, featuring Bobby Bair and Penny Wolfe, with a street dance starting at 7 p.m. Organizers say the performance will bring energy and excitement to cap off a day filled with community pride.

Throughout the day, families can enjoy food vendors, craft booths, bounce houses, and a kids’ corner. Organizers say vendor spaces are still available, and anyone interested should reach out soon to secure a spot.

The Evening Shade Fall Festival is sponsored by the City of Evening Shade and the Bank of Cave City. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to join in and show their small-town pride during this celebration of music, food, and fellowship.
