Free Hunter Education Course Brings Safety Training to Ozarka College

MELBOURNE, Ark. — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a free Hunter Education Course on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Ozarka College.

The all-day course will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Ozarka College Administration Building and is open to anyone interested in learning safe, responsible hunting practices.

Hunter Education courses are designed to promote firearm safety, ethical hunting behavior, wildlife conservation, and outdoor responsibility. Completion of the course is required for many hunters before purchasing a hunting license in Arkansas.
