ICARE Hosting Low-Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic October 4

MELBOURNE, Ark. — Pet owners in Izard County will have the chance to protect their furry friends at an upcoming low-cost vaccination clinic hosted by ICARE Animal Shelter on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The clinic will take place at the ICARE Shelter, 214 Circle Drive in Melbourne, next to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office. Dr. Danielle Barnes of Barnes Veterinary Hospital will be onsite providing veterinary care.

Services Available:

  • Rabies shots – $15

  • Dog combo (DA2PP) – $20

  • Cat combo (FVRCP) – $20

  • Flea & tick medications – cost varies

  • Dewormer – cost varies

What to Know Before You Go:

  • Cats must be brought in a crate, dogs on a leash.

  • The clinic is walk-in only (no appointments needed).

  • Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Cash or check only.

Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for families to affordably care for their pets’ health and help prevent the spread of disease in the community.
