MELBOURNE, Ark. — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office released its April monthly report, outlining calls for service, case activity, jail bookings and collections handled by the department.
During April, dispatch received 368 calls for service. Deputies completed 65 incident reports and 18 motor vehicle accident reports, according to the sheriff’s office.

The report also showed three new felony cases were filed with the Izard County Circuit Clerk’s Office. Deputies served 60 civil papers during the month.
Jail staff booked a total of 35 inmates in April, with the jail maintaining a daily average of 29 inmates.
The sheriff’s office administration also collected $20,341.65 in restitution for victims, fines and fees during the month.
