Izard County Sheriff’s Office Releases Weekly Incarceration Report

April 21, 2025 | Izard County, AR — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly incarceration report, detailing arrests made between April 14 and April 20, 2025. According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were taken into custody. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Aaron Slayton, 41, of Benton, was arrested on April 14 on a warrant issued by the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.

  • David Rogers, 20, of Melbourne, was arrested on April 14 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug premises.

  • Jennifer Leonard, 22, of Melbourne, was also arrested on April 14 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug premises.

  • Erin Couch, 40, of Melbourne, was arrested on April 16 on a warrant from the Izard County Circuit Court. Charges include two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, delivery of a counterfeit substance, maintaining a drug premises, and an enhanced charge for delivery of a controlled substance in proximity to certain facilities—a church.

  • Jordan Wilson, 33, of Calico Rock, was arrested on April 17 for driving left of center, careless driving, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and driving while intoxicated (DWI).

  • Shane Hill, 45, of Oxford, was arrested on April 18 for possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violations.

  • Leeann George, 27, of Oxford, was arrested on April 18 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Levi Looney, 28, of Melbourne, was arrested on April 19 for parole violations.
