Man Found Deceased After Bull Shoals Structure Fire, Authorities Determine Cause as Accidental

Bull Shoals, AR – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a structure fire on McDonald’s Meadow in Bull Shoals at approximately 9:03 a.m. yesterday morning, May 13, where the body of a male victim was discovered inside the residence once firefighters were able to gain entry.

Multiple agencies responded to the incident, including the Bull Shoals Police, Bull Shoals Fire Department, Fairview Fire Department, Flippin Fire Department, Grover Fire Department, Marion County Coroner, Marion County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Arkansas State Police, and Baxter Health.

Following the discovery of the victim’s body, Arkansas State Police Corporal Robson and Fire Investigator Eddie White were called to the scene. After a thorough investigation conducted in collaboration with Bull Shoals Fire Chief Mitchell and Grover Fire Chief Harper, the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. No foul play is suspected in connection with the incident.

The victim’s body has been turned over to the Marion County Coroner’s Office, and authorities have notified the victim’s next of kin. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, officials are asking the public to avoid the area unless absolutely necessary.

Local authorities expressed gratitude to all agencies involved in the emergency response, emphasizing that the collaborative efforts of police, fire departments, medical personnel, and state investigators were critical in managing the incident effectively.
