YELLVILLE, Ark. — Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to 97 calls for service during the week ending August 22, 2025. The calls included three wellness checks and one domestic incident.
Law enforcement made two misdemeanor arrests during the week and assisted with two traffic accidents. Deputies also completed 28 incident reports and logged a total of 18 hours serving as bailiffs.
Investigators opened one new felony investigation and closed three others. Additionally, 28 investigative conferences were conducted with the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, witnesses, and victims involved in ongoing investigations.
At the Marion County Detention Center, 13 inmates were booked and 12 were released during the week, leaving a total of 41 inmates in custody at the end of the reporting period.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
